SPORTS SEMI-CAMPS WITHIN THE MUNICIPAL PROGRAMME
"NEKLA - READY, STEADY, GO" IN NEKLA
SUMMER 2010

From 16.08.2010 to 21.08.2010 on the sports field near the Co-operative School in Nekla there were activities held within the programme "Nekla - ready, steady, go". The activities were for boys aged 11 - 14. the leading discipline was football. For the first time in "Nekla - ready, steady, go" programme semi-camps were totally held by newly qualified instructors. The activities were held by Sebastian Kacała who was supported by sports leaders Kacper Matuszak, Dawid Górka and Maciej Bartkowiak.
The activities were organized from Monday to Friday from 6.00 to 8.00 p.m. and on Saturday from 3.00 to 5.00 p.m. Despite different hours the attendance was really high. Children took part in the activities actively. Every day they could improve their skills in football. Gained abilities every participant could use in Saturday tournament in which four teams took part. The most important aim of the activities was encouraging young people to active way of passing free time and popularizing team competitions.
